Bathroom Report helps you find a clean, open public bathroom fast, at convenience stores, travel stops, and other reliable spots. It’s community-powered and growing nationwide. The whole idea in four words: FIND. RATE. SHARE. IMPROVE.
FIND
Open the map, tap Bathroom Now for the closest option, or use the key to see which places are around you. Hours show when we have them. A spot with unknown hours still appears, and we never mark a place closed on a guess. No account needed for any of this.
Going somewhere with no service?
The map remembers wherever you’ve already looked. Before you leave, pan and zoom around the area you’re heading to — the map squares and the pins you load get stored on your device, and they’ll still be there with no signal at all. Rate, tip and answer questions as normal while you’re out; anything you write is saved on your phone and uploads by itself the moment you get service back. Nothing is lost and there’s nothing to press.
RATE
Ratings come from people who’ve actually been there, because you can only rate when you’re on-site. They cover the bathroom itself, so you know what to expect before you go. Something broken? Flag it right from the pin.
SHARE
Get directions, share a spot with a friend, leave a tip (“need a key,” “buzzer required”), or report wrong info, all from a pin. Signed out, directions open in your device’s default maps app. Spotted a place we don’t have? Send it in with We Missed One?
IMPROVE
Confirm a store’s hours, answer quick amenity questions, and build your Passport as you go. Every location is reviewed before it goes on the map, and whole data sources get rejected. One national chain claimed restrooms at 16,000 sites with no evidence behind it, so none of them are here. Nothing is bulk-imported unchecked, and your reports are how it keeps getting better.

A green dot means open now, red means closed, grey means we don't have the hours. We never mark a place closed on a guess.
Accounts & privacy
Signing in is optional. The whole map works without an account. Sign in to rate, add tips, build your Passport, filter places, choose your default directions app, and switch appearance, all synced across your devices. Like most sites, Bathroom Report also uses basic analytics to understand overall usage; it doesn’t identify you personally.
No ads, ever. Not banners, not sponsored pins, not a chain paying to look cleaner than it is. Hosting the map is nearly free; verifying 84,000+ locations isn’t.
Do I need an account? No. The map, directions, and Bathroom Now all work signed out. An account adds rating, tips, and Passport, plus place filtering and a saved directions-app preference.
Why can’t I rate this bathroom? You need to be on-site (within about a third of a mile), so ratings come from real visits.
The hours are wrong, or it’s closed. Report it from the pin and we’ll review it.
I don’t see a store I know is there. We add locations by hand, so send it in and we’ll add it.
Is this affiliated with these businesses? No. It’s an independent, community-created project.
